Rep. Nnamdi Ezechi recently flagged off the construction of a 4.2-kilometer road linking two major communities in Ndokwa East Local Government Area. The project, facilitated through the Constituency Development Fund (CDF), is expected to be completed within six months and will significantly ease movement and commerce in the area.
The road project will benefit thousands of residents who have long endured difficult terrain that hampered commerce, healthcare access, and school attendance. The contractor, a certified indigenous construction firm, has already mobilized equipment to the site and work has commenced in earnest.
"This road has been the subject of complaints for over ten years. Today, I am fulfilling my promise to connect our communities," Rep. Ezechi said at the flag-off ceremony, flanked by local government officials and traditional rulers. Community leaders present commended the lawmaker for delivering on his campaign promises ahead of schedule.
