On 20th July, 2024, Hon. Nnamdi Ezechi, Member Representing Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, in partnership with the National Biotechnology Development Agency, distributed laptops to several secondary and primary schools within the Ndokwa/Ukwuani federal constituency. The initiative aims to foster and support digital literacy in a rapidly evolving, technology-driven world.

He noted that proficiency with technology is essential for students' academic success and future career prospects. By equipping young learners with these tools, the initiative enhances their educational experience and prepares them to compete in a global economy that increasingly relies on digital skills.

Also present at the event were Hon. Vincent Osilonya, Chairman of Ndokwa East Local Government Council; Hon. Cecilia Ekpo, Vice Chairman of Ndokwa East Local Government Council; and other community leaders who officially presented the laptops to the various beneficiary school heads.
