On the 7th of May 2024, after an extended hiatus, Rt. Hon. Nnamdi Ezechi, the distinguished Member representing Ndokwa/Ukwuani federal constituency of Delta State in the House of Representatives, presented a legislative bill and a petition.

The bill is for An Act to Amend the Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria Act, Cap. A12, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004 to make provision for the establishment of Federal College of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Utagba-Uno, Ndokwa West, Local Government Area, Delta State (HB. 1312). The bill successfully passed its first reading.

Also, Hon. Ezechi presented a petition on behalf of a constituent, Mr. Gwede Harrison, regarding his alleged unjust dismissal from the Nigeria Police Academy. The petition has been forwarded to the House Committee on Public Petitions for review.
