The Member representing the Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Rt. Hon Nnamdi Ezechi, on Monday 27th January 2025, inspected some ongoing projects in the Constituency.

The first port of call was a 6-classroom block under construction at Mixed Secondary School, Akoku-Ebedei, in Ukwuani Local Government Area, which was at the roofing stage.

Hon Ezechi expressed satisfaction with the quality and progress of the project, which was awarded October last year. He told students of the school that it was part of the Federal Government's efforts to provide a conducive learning environment for them.

He assured them that the project would soon be completed and commissioned, and pledged to look into the problem of water in the school.

In their remarks, the Principal of the school, Mr. Newton Egbe, a community leader, Comrade Fidelis Azaka and a youth leader, Comrade Enudi Marcus, commended Hon Ezechi for attracting the project, which would significantly enhance teaching and learning in the school, describing him as a true representative of the people.

At Mixed Secondary School, Onicha Ukwuani, in Ndokwa West Local Government Area, the joy of the students knew no bounds when Hon Ezechi and his encourage arrived the school to inspect a fully completed 4-classroom block with toilet facilities.

Addressing the staff and students of the school, the Lawmaker announced plans for the furnishing of the classrooms, adding that the fencing of the school would be considered in the next Federal budget.

He charged the students to take their studies seriously to be able to realize their dreams of becoming great and influential citizens in the future.

The Principal of the school, Mr. Paul Ugboko, expressed profound gratitude to Hon Ezechi for the project and urged him to assist in securing the services of youth corpers to help address the shortage of teachers in the school.

The story was not different at Oluchi Primary School, Okpai, in Ndokwa East, Hon Ezechi's alma mater, where he inspected a completed 4-classroom block to the admiration of the staff and students.

He announced that furniture would soon be supplied to the school, while fencing would start in earnest.

The Lawmaker rounded off the inspection with a visit to a 1.3-kilometer internal road in Okpai, on which he said asphalt laying would be done in weeks to come.
