On the 12th of January, 2024, we proudly inaugurated the Azunze Modern Market in Umusadege Ogbe, Kwale, a project initiated under my zonal intervention to uplift and benefit the people of our constituency.
The official commissioning was presided over by His Excellency, Sir Monday Onyeme, the Deputy Governor of Delta State, joined by esteemed dignitaries including the Executive Chairman of Ndokwa West Local Council, Chief Obi Godday Nzete, Hon. Prince Emeka Osamuta, Honourable Member Representing Ndokwa East in the Delta State House of Assembly, Surv. Azuka Enebeli, Chief Dr. Charles Olisa of the Desopadec Board, as well as party leaders, government officials, and members of the Association of Market Women.
More than just a physical structure, the Azunze Modern Market stands as a symbol of progress, economic empowerment, and unity within our constituency. I sincerely thank everyone who contributed to making this vision a reality.
May this market thrive as a center of commerce, driving prosperity and improving the lives of our constituents.

Sep 23, 2024 [05:50pm]Dear Ezechi, The market project appears to have been ill-conceived, as it offers little to no significant benefits in improving the lives of the Utagba Ogbe communities, particularly the Azunze people. A commercial or mixed secondary school would have been more impactful. Nonetheless, thank you for the effort, but broader consultation is advised for future projects. Best regards, Azuka Orji
