On 20th March 2024, Rt. Hon. Nnamdi Ezechi, Member Representing Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency in the Chambers of the House of Representatives, presented a petition on behalf of a constituent, Constable Henry Ukaoha. The petition addressed what he described as unlawful dismissal and intimidation by the Nigeria Police Force.

Hon. Ezechi fervently prayed for Constable Ukaoha's reinstatement and the release of withheld salaries. He made this impassioned appeal to the Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, Speaker of the House of Representatives, and the Inspector General of Police for urgent consideration of these requests.

The petition was subsequently forwarded to the House Committee on Public Petitions for further action.
